| 1899 | Morganville is founded and the town's charter and Articles of Conduct are drafted. |
| 1905 | Morganville's Elders Council is formed, permitting the citizens of the town a voice in administrative matters. |
| 1920 |
A monument is erected in Founder's Square to commemorate the service of Joshua Bartlett, Declan McRae and Frederick Bolton, whose heroic efforts to protect Morganville during the prairie fires cost them their lives. |
| 1933 | Morganville School District is formed. |
| 1948 | Morganville becomes the home of Texas Prairie University. |
| 1951 | The new Elders Council building is completed and put into service. |
| 1963 | Morganville Blood Bank is founded. |
| 1968 | Morganville attracts new businesses and industries, allowing the creation of additional jobs and income. |
| 1980 | Two professors from Texas Prairie University (Drs. Johnson and Shayle) are recognized for their outstanding work in blood-borne diseases. |
| 1999 | Morganville celebrates its centennial. |
